The Big Turkeys

This year we raised our first turkeys.  This picture was taken the day before harvest.

Every day the turkeys roamed the farm, enjoying all the wild things they could forage in the yard and pastures.  At night, they gladly went into a two sided shed we built to keep them safe from predators.

These are the large broad-breasted bronze sold by Snake River Farm.

We hope you enjoy them.  We certainly enjoyed ours.
